I am new to the Catholic religion. Making the decision to join the church with my husband. This book helped me to understand more of the Catholic ways. I have always prayed to God and read my Bible, but I have never been a member of a church. Again, this book brought somethings to light for me. I will be reading the other books in this series.
This book is beautiful!!! It reminds everyone so clearly why the Catholic Faith itself is so beautiful! Read it! Read it to your kids! Give it to an RCIA candidate or confirmand or anyone who has questions about the Catholic faith. The text is written in conversational style which makes it easy and NOT too scary and overwhelming even for a beginner in the Faith to read, yet the clarity and truth expressed will be a helpful review even for the "seasoned" Catholic. Wonderful!!!
This book is well written and inspirational. Every Catholic should take a little time and read it. I sometimes just need a boost in what I am considering or doing with my life at the moment. Sometimes I question my religion. Sometimes I think maybe I'm not on track. This is the book for those people who think like I do sometimes. It was what I was looking for when I needed it. I am grateful to the author!
Long-time Catholic who wasted many years not learning my faith. I was raised Methodist and did not convert to Catholicism until I was about 35 years old. Even then, through a rather blah RCIA, I needed to learn more. Now I am a Senior Citizen and always striving to learn more about my faith. This book is easy to read, yet makes you think. Very happy with purchase.
This book is fantastic. This author explained everything so well, but do not take my word for it get the book and you'll see. I already got the two continuation.
