About the Author
Tim Wimer began drumming during the late 1970's in his school band program. Since then, he has played in rock, pop, country, jazz, blues, and orchestral bands, including the 82nd Airborne Division Band where he served as a paratrooper and musician. Tim has written several instructional courses including Drum Primer Book with DVD, Drum Styles Book, and Guide to Snare Drum Rudiments Video. He currently lives in Roanoke, Virginia, where he teaches privately and works with school band programs.
