As a new agent about to enter the industry, I found Peter's book to be extremely insightful in terms of all of the encounters he had experienced as a life insurance agent. I love this business and he showed through humor, at times, the impact that you can have on people in this profession. Clearly, he is one of the best to ever do it and is well respected in the industry as thought leader. I'm so glad that I happened across this book and I continue to re-read after several years due to its timelessness of human interaction. At the end of the day, people are people no matter where you are in this world and this book proves it!
Terrific flow to the book. As a Life Insurance salesman myself, the book really hammers home the emphasis on telling your story EVERYDAY!! Peter comes through more as a person who is a professional at living life, not just a Life Insurance salesman. Great book!!!
I was pleasantly surprised that this was indeed not your typical book on how to sell better. Instead, I found this to be a wild ride with wonderful humor. Peter is very proud of his profession, family and his love of life and adventure shines through on every page.
Although it is not what I expected - a book about selling, I enjoyed it. Rosengard is a larger than life character.
The best part of the book was provided in the free glimpse before buying. Found myself reading halfway through the book to not feel like I wasted my life reading the first half.
